If you love trees as much as Robert Adams does, there’s a lot you’ll value in this show…
This has been overshadowed by the artist’s ongoing retrospective at the Yale University Art Gallery, but Robert Adams is showing new work in New York, at the Matthew Marks Gallery. The exhibition is on view until November 3. You can see images of the artworks in the show here.
Adams may be America’s greatest living photographer. He was the guest on Episode No. 41 of The Modern Art Notes Podcast, a special show during which Adams talked about pictures from throughout his career and about how his sister’s death has impacted his recent work. Don’t miss it.
Download the program to your PC/mobile device. Subscribe to The Modern Art Notes Podcast via iTunes or RSS. View images of artworks discussed on the show.
